Gallery

Welcome to my gallery. Here I plan to put all kinds of work I’ve done over the past year or two since I started film-making.

Lego Images

For about a year when I first started filmmaking I used the medium of stop-motion combined with LEGO bricks. Here are some still frames. I’ve improved dramatically since making many of them, so don’t be too harsh in your criticism. Nonetheless, feel free to point out things you like or dislike.

Top Secret Agent: This was my first experience integrating Blender models and stop-mo footage using a bluescreen. It’s definitely not perfect, but it was a good place to start. The face on the minifigure is also CG, as is the bar (and its shadow) on the left.

- Future Rain: This is from a short trailer I made. It uses a lot of CG, and was a good step in learning to use Blender in a workflow.

- Revolution: This image doesn’t use any CG from Blender, but it has a surprising amount of image editing.

- The Stake: Made for a contest, this still image was done in a day. It was my first experience using GIMP and Blender together.

- Alleyway: The background of this image was done in Blender and composited in Photoscape, which is interesting because Photoscape does not utilize layers like most image editors. Nonetheless, it turned out pretty well, and I learned a lot matching camera angles in Blender.

- Atmoshpere: Another image made for a contest, this one combines Blender and GIMP. It is the most recent LEGO image I’ve done.
